ggApps (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the gg Variant Images Shopify app and this website (ggapps.store). This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights around it.
What We Collect
When you install gg Variant Images from the Shopify App Store, we collect:
- Shop information — your Shopify store domain and store name
- Access token — a Shopify API access token so the app can read and write product data on your behalf
- Product data — product IDs, variant IDs, and media IDs needed to save your image assignment configurations
- Session data — temporary session tokens used to keep you authenticated in the app admin
We do not collect personal customer data from your storefront visitors.
How We Use Your Data
- To provide the core app functionality (reading products, saving image assignments, filtering images on your storefront)
- To manage your subscription and billing via our billing partner, Mantle
- To contact you about important app updates or support requests
Third-Party Services
We use a small number of third-party services to run the app:
- Shopify — your store data is accessed via the Shopify Admin API under the permissions you grant at install
- Mantle — handles subscription billing for the app. See Mantle’s privacy policy for details
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — our servers and database run on AWS infrastructure in the United States
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any other third parties.
Data Retention
We retain your shop data for as long as the app is installed. When you uninstall gg Variant Images, we receive a webhook from Shopify and delete your access token and shop record within 30 days.
Product metafields written by the app (image assignments) remain on your Shopify products after uninstall. You can delete them from your Shopify admin at any time.
Your Rights
You can request a copy or deletion of your data at any time by emailing us. We will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
This website (ggapps.store) uses only essential cookies required for WordPress to function. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the “last updated” date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
